Travel Insurance for Foreign Guests for up to 1 Year

With us you can travel with the maximum possible cover, if you are staying in Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein or in other EU countries.

We will insure you for:
• Out-patient medical treatment by a doctor up to the regular maximum rates of the respective applicable official German scale of fees for doctors and for dentists "Gebührenordnung für Ärzte/Zahnärzte (GOÄ/GOZ)"

 In accordance with item no. 437 and section M (laboratory services), up to 1.15 times the listed rate

In accordance with sections A, E and O (technical performance), up to 1.8 times the listed rate

In all other cases up to 2.3 times the listed rate
• Prescribed medication and dressings
• Medically prescribed massages, medical packs and inhalation treatment up to € 300 per insurance year
• Prescribed medical supplies, if you have an accident
• Pain management and preservative dental treatment as well as recovery of the function of dental prosthesis per insurance year

Up to € 600 in the event of a contract period of at least 6 months
• Pregnancy examinations and treatment
• Childbirth after a waiting period of 8 months
• In-patient treatment in hospital in a multiple-bed room
• Transport to the nearest-available hospital
• In case of death the resulting necessary additional costs for the repatriation of the deceased or costs of a funeral up to € 10,000
• Excess per claim € 25
Travel Accident Insurance and Travel Liability Insurance

Travel accident insurance:
- In case of death we reimburse € 5,000
- In cases of invalidity you have cover to the value of € 25,000
- From an invalidity of 90 percent, we double the invalidity benefit.
Travel liability insurance

- We provide a standard lump sum of € 1.5 million for personal injury and damage to property.

Note on conclusion of contract

 Your travel insurance for foreign guests can be concluded up to 31 days after your arrival in Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein or other EU countries.
Period

 From the start of the trip until the end of the trip (day premiums).
Type of payment

 By direct debit (period of payment optional: one full payment, half-yearly, quarterly, monthly) or

By credit card (period of payment: one full payment)
Extension of contract

 Possible (with the consent of the insurance company) within a maximum insurance period of 1 year
Early ending

 In the event of early departure, the contract may be cancelled anytime on the day of departure to the next due date for monthly payment (written notification within 31 days of the day of your departure) (the premium will be proportionately reimbursed).
Age
